Vidya Sumod, a lawyer by profession, is well known for her work as the convenor of Sthreeshakthi (BJP’s women’s wing) in Kuwait. Also, she does social and charity work in Kuwait for the expat Indian community and is a patron of the Mookambika Charitable Trust in Kannur, Kerala.
